The API is metered on verify events, keys are yours to manage and revoke, and you are responsible for keeping your usage within fair limits.

The service

Chitmark is a verification API with three verbs: verify, feedback, challenge. It scores each request and improves as you send back what actually happened. The Agent Farming Ledger is a report derived from event data; it is not a guarantee against abuse.

API keys

Keys are shown once at creation and stored only as hashes. You are responsible for keeping them secret and for revoking them in the dashboard when they leak. Revoked keys stop working immediately.

Free tier

The free tier includes 10,000 verify events per month, no card required. Above the quota we email you, show the meter in the dashboard, and reserve the right to pause keys that stay far above the quota for two consecutive months. We never charge for usage you did not opt into.

Metering and billing

Metering counts verify events only. Feedback and challenge are unmetered on every tier. Pro billing runs through Stripe on the metered price; cancel anytime from the billing portal. Paid-up usage continues until the period ends.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to build spam, to bypass the protections of other services, or to resell access without written agreement. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where possible.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is, without warranties. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. These terms may change; material changes are announced on this page.
